I live in the beautiful city of Victoria, in the province of British Columbia.

Experience

I have been teaching students from all over the world since 2002. I have taught in private colleges, public middle and elementary schools, universities and in private tutoring settings for individuals and groups. I really enjoy getting to know my international students because it helps me learn more about their cultures and also discover who they are as individuals.

Facilitator

I facilitate workshops on a variety of topics related to language acquisition and international education. I am grateful for every opportunity I have had to help both students and teachers reach their personal and professional education goals. 

Life Abroad

I had the extraordinary opportunity to live in Kumamoto City, Japan, for 3 years. I met amazing students and teachers who shared their culture. I also made incredible friends along the way. Living in Japan helped me understand the unique experience of living abroad which, in turn, has helped me become a compassionate teacher. 

Travel

I have traveled to many cities around Japan and to countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, the Bahamas, England and France. My dream is to travel around the world with my family and have unforgettable adventures. I really like to experience different cultures, music, language and food.
